We understand your dissatisfaction with the fact that regular cleaning of the apartment was suspended throughout April, May and the first weeks of June 2020. During this time it was important to implement hygiene measures. But even more important was the reduction of contact between people. We could not guarantee safety in your shared flat as long as the cleaning teams were moving through the cities and several apartments which is we asked for your cooperation in this difficult time to keep the apartments clean.
Please note, our cleaning teams were traveling by multiple means through various homes and apartments on a daily basis. They were potentially getting in touch with dozens of people. In order to protect them and you, we decided to stop further cleaning of the apartments to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 within the community.
During this time hygiene was an absolute priority, too, and we were aware that it was an unpleasant decision to suspend the cleaning service but we could not risk potentially sending infected employees of our partners through shared flats of the homefully community at these times.
Please understand that we did not want to give up the cleaning service for monetary reasons. Instead, we had to make this difficult decision to reduce movement between apartments. We are very sorry to have put you and your flatmates in this situation. During this time we all have to work together and find ways to provide the necessary hygiene and cleanliness ourselves.
